digona press is an independent micro-press & creative label founded, owned, and operated by sophia truscott with help from volunteers and guest curators.
sophia is a local writer, artist, and musician. for over five years, she has self-published poems and literary nonfiction online, written lyrics for and performed with oranje band at sled island music festival and beyond, and sold art at shows around the city.
she believes in the life-changing power of creative community, so she launched digona press as a way to highlight the artistic excellence right here in our own backyard: our press is dedicated to uplifting calgary’s underground creative talent through the curation and promotion of independent and undiscovered writers, artists, and musicians.
